CHRIS HAGENOW, President of Iowans for Tax Relief, is in studio with SIMON to announce ITR’S awareness & education campaign for Amendment 1 on this November’s ballot. Voters will be asked if they support an amendment to the Iowa Constitution making tax increases in the state more difficult to implement by requiring approval from a 2/3 majority of the Iowa Legislature, rather than a simple majority.
